If you are wondering what the title means read on. I will tell at the end what it means.
Well by now u m8 well be aware how well the movie is doing at box office (especially multiplexes) but more importantly u would have also heard all good reviews about it!! All the review sites have given it at least 4 stars but tell you what, if brainless, masala movies like Om Shanti Om are given 3 this one deserves more than 5 ;)
I haven’t read the earlier reviews but this one is one of those fast paced thriller which is best seen without knowing the plot. In suspense thriller if you are told to write reviews, u stumble as u cant reveal the plot at the same time convince people to see it.
Believe me this movie right from the onset sets heart racing. As Naseeruddin Shah (he doesn’t have a character name in the movie) calls up ACP Rathore again n again, you are at the edge of seat as to what will be the next step. This one is one class of a movie. Few weeks back I had written about Mumbai Meri Jaan and appreciated its work.
one leaves MMJ far behind. The performances are truly mind blowing specially by Naseer (it was expected). Jimmy plays an angry cop and you might have raised eyebrows. But he suits his role more than it. Anupam after a long time has done a matured role. I wonder why such an experienced actor like him, takes up silly movies like the recently releases C Kkompany. Nevertheless the twist in the movie is one you could have never imagined. The 100min *Kingda Ka *is just about the best movies made in recent times. The dialogues are very catchy and fast specially the ones exchanged between Naseer and Anupam. No songs, no romance no sentiments but still a gem. This movie deserves a standing ovation.
The title is an abbreviation of 90 beats per minute. Your heart will surely beat at this rate for the entire duration of movie.
