Not having been to a big city before, I was awed and confused by the plethora of choices in Mumbai, specially the stores / malls in Mumbai. While I visited quite a few, including In-Orbit, Shoppers Stop, Cit-Mall and Infinity, I was most impressed by the Westside store in Infiniti Mall in Andheri.
What I liked most was the cool ambiance. The staff were extremely helpful and even managed to get me a pair of jeans which was not in my size from another store across Mumbai. Who gives customer service like that anymore?
Agreed - Westside is more for females but for traditional guys with traditional tastes, it’s not too bad. Further, the prices don’t burn your pocket.
One amazing thing I heard from quite a few of my friends was their return policy. They really take the stuff back - no questions asked.
With the retail boom all set to hit India in a big way, may their tribe increase.
