Whirlpool is a leading International manufacturer and marketer, well-known for their extensive range of home and kitchen appliances. This brand has a very good reputation for their quality and innovative products and has loyal and dedicated customers across the globe.
As a kid I used to simply adore the whirlpool advertisements and I guess the brand still holds a special place in my heart. Recently, when my old refrigerator, which was a Samsung model had stopped working, I decided to get Whirlpool this time.
Whirlpool has an exclusive array of refrigerators and so I was initially a little confused as to which one to buy. However, on the suggestion of a friend, I bought Whirlpool NEO FR258 CLS PLUS 3S 245 L from Snapdeal. Delivery was a bit late than expected, otherwise all good. I’ve been using this refrigerator for about six months now and I’m quite satisfied with its overall performance.
Here in this review I’m going to list some of the best and worst aspects of this refrigerator.
PROS:
Premium looks, good height and attractive colour.( I got the Wine Titanium Colour)
It’s a double door 245 litres refrigerator with 3 star energy star rating.
Stabilizer free operation and also low power consumption.
It has this amazing cooling technology called 6th sense Deep Freeze which allows maximum circulation of cool air throughout the freezer. Thanks to it, everything in the freezer stays cool for about 5-6 hours even when there is a power-cut, which is quite frequent at my place.
The moisture lock box helps maintain the freshness of fruits and vegetables for a longer period .
Interiors with toughened glass shelves look nice.
CONS:
For its giant looks, interior is a bit lacking in space. The fridge capacity is quite small whereas the Deep freezer size is unnecessarily way too large.
The top portion in the Freezer compartment has no light.
3.A bit over-priced when compared to refrigerators of other brands that have almost the same features.
All-in-all, I’m quite happy with the overall performance of this refrigerator except for a few aspects like less interior space, freezer light etc. which are not any major issues and could be ignored. This product is best suited for a small family who is looking to buy an energy efficient and double door refrigerator with decent performance at this price range.
