Four years back I bought Whilpool front-loading washing machine. It was working fine for three years. Three months back it stopped working. After my repeated follow up, service people of Pondycherry have turned up. They told that the model is outdated and not in a position to repair it.
They proposed to give a new machine by paying a nominal amount of Rs 10000/. I did the same. After 45 days of my frustrated follow up a new machine Sensation Elite | 6.5 Kg has been delivered. From here on I will narrate the experience with this new machine.
The new machine stopped working the very next day of delivery.
After 15 days again Whilrpool Chennai replaced a new machine in May 2007. It was working fine for one month. It stared giving lot of noise in the spin. I called service people repeatedly but no use as on 11-8-2007. On 12-8-2007 the machine stopped working. I called service people. They told me that they would look into this. After repeated visit they could not repair it. Again informed me that they will replace the washing machine with a NEW one. THIS IS THE QUALITY OF WHILPOOL WASHING MACHINE. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
