This is my first review. I had bought one whirlpool splash washing machine 3 years before. I will be using it regularly for 1 hour to wash my two kids dress, and 2 hours on saturdays. After 6 months, one day, it god dead. The service person when visited said, the board is complaint. The replaced it on warranty period. Just before expiring the warranty, the board again got complaint. This time also, I was lucky to get it replaced.
Again after 6 months, the board got complaint. Then the service personal said, it was due to voltage prob this is happening. I am sure in our rural area, there is no voltage fluctuation. Again, thinking of letting the board problem be end for ever, I took the duroMax stabilizer provided by whirlpool itself worth rs 750. (At that time, V-guard stabilizer for washing machine was not available, else I should go for it only). This time, for board I paid 1800 Rs having 6 months warranty. The stabilizer got 1 year warranty.
I thought my all problems finished after getting the stabilizer. But I noticed the sound coming from washing machine while spinning. It was like a hurricane. My third neighbour who was staying around 60/70 meter apart can easily hear this sound. Moreover, I will not able to hear anything inside my home, even watching tv. I ignored it for long time around 6 months. When the sound became terrible, I took it to the service centre. They said, the assembly has to be replaced. I done it and it cost me again 1600.
Now again my washing machine dead. I took board to them, they tested it and said, the board is complaint. If it repairs, it costs 1300 and 6 months warranty. If it replace with new one, it costs 1800.
This time, I argued withe service personal, why this is getting regular complaint. Their reply is the actual message for my friends.
The board of the model has some complaint. Company is looking into that.
Let them look and resolve the complaint, I have no money and patience for one more try. I am thinking of replacing the washing machine and go for a semi automatic washing machine.
