All right, so this app like so many other similar apps is meant to check the vulnerability of your router/acess point and can also let you connect to the vulnerable access points around you. Does it serve its purpose? I would say no.
The app mentions that if your device is running on Lollipop or above ( rooted or not rooted) , then you can connect to vulnerable points around you. I must say it’s just a rip-off of some similar WPS testers, let alone hacking, as the term would be too big for this WiFi WPA WPS TESTER. My phone has android marshmallow and I tried to connect to several vulnerable points that has WPS enabled routers but not a single time it was successful. I also tested on my own router but thank God my router is not WPS enabled.
For all you readers who are wondering what WPS is, it is an abbreviation for WiFi Protected Setup. It is a network security standard that allows you to create a secure wireless home network. It makes it easy to add new device to your existing network without having to type in long pass phrase. But a major security flaw has been revealed with the routers with WPS PIN features and using some android apps people can hack into others WiFi.
Forget about testing the vulnerabilities of the available networks, but the ads on the app are so disruptive that you cannot even view the list of access points easily. There is another app for the same purpose on Google Play that I have tried ( will share the review about that app) , which gives 100 % results. But the WPA WPS TESTER is just a waste of time and waste of storage on the phone.
