Alas! It's Changed!

Microsoft created History when it launched its first version of the Graphic User Interface(GUI) based Windows operating system. It made things possible which were only dreamt of before. It enabled ameteurs to operate computers with utmost ease. If you agree with what is written above then you will be baffled by using Windows XP, just like I was when I used it for the first time. I have been using windows since the last five years and have not seen anything as cool and fast as XP.

With XP Microsoft has once again proved that they are the master’s of their field and they do stuff which people only think about a couple of years later.

XP’s advantages include the much needed change in the graphical interface(of which we were starting to get bored). The new colour scheme of Windows sports basically many shades of Blue which makes your desktop appear really cool. XP also has a very important advantage over other version of Windows, i.e. it does not hang (as frequently as other windows.) Also the bootup time is also highly reduced and the same applies to the shut down time.

Another advantage of XP is its user care/support/guidance system. Almost anyone (beginner/novice/ameteur) can use XP with as much ease as an expert. The speech recognition software works extremely good if you train it properly.

XP also gives you an option to switch back to the classic windows colour scheme(in case you don’t like changes!).

XP comes in two versions - Home and Pro. For most users I would suggest Home but if you are involved in more of programming ans scripting/server side environment then you should certainly opt for Pro. Both are almost the sam price and also Pro is faster than the Home version.

I think you should surely try out XP at a friends place or at a showroom and think of buying it too. It is exactly the type of product that I would title ’’Owner’s Pride, Neighbour’s Envy’’
