First of all I am writting my review after using it about 4 months.
Here are my experian about the phone.
1.brand- although xiomi is a chines brand but now it became 4th largest smartphone maker in the world.
Any one hardly belive that it sell its first mobile in 2011.
2.display : - 5.5 inch. Full hd ips display is very sharp I hardly notice pixcel. Great viewing angle .colour reproductio is also good but not great . I like the most is it has some important features like sunlight display tech, night mode & reading mode which is very helpfull for reading purpose as I read a lot.
I surely say that the display is one of the best in this price range.
Design : -it looks and feels incredibly premium. It has full-metal body .i like the back most.
Performance : -the best thing I like that its cpu & gpu.
It is ultra fast & I havent notice any lag or hanging problem . With some of very high end game like - gta. asphalt 8. Nova 3. More than enough for day to day use thanks to snapdragon 650 64 bit cpu based on cortex A72 cores .no heating issue I ever face.
- Camera : - ok in this particular area I have big expectetion because previously I had a very good camera in my 1s.
But I am sorry to say although it has 16 mp camera .the performance isn’t that much good but it able to take some good photo in good light condition . Low light photo became very noise.
Front camera is average not that much good.
connectivity : - support indian 4g band no problem .it has dual band wifi.bluetooth 4.1
Os & ui : - the device is based on miui 7 lolipop out of the box but u can update miui 8.
Miui is the best customisable ui I ever seen
Sensor : - it has almost all the sensor including fingerprint.
Battery life : - it has 4050 mh non removal bettery. it esily last 1& half day in norman usa.
Storage : - I have 32 gb version it has 3 gb ram & optional sd card up to 128 gb.which is more than sufficent.
Other features : - it include other all important features like- radio, Gps, otg , one handed mode.
Benchmark : - antutu - 75000-78000 & nenemark 2- 61.
Conclusion : - redmi note 3 is great value for money & one of the top candidate for this price range.
Note: - the phone is avaliable in two variant 16gb & 32 gb I highly recomended go for 32 gb .
