I bought this phone for my dad like two months ago from amazon. First we got a phone whose camera was not opening, we got in exchanged from amazon in two days time. The new piece arrived, everythijg was good for the first two days only. The screen size is little big 5.5, people with big hands alone should opt for this phone or can go for Redmi 3s and Redmi 2.
The other reasons are listed below why you should not buy Redmi note 3,
-> The phones loud speaker stops working suddenly every now and then, the reason is not known. You wont know that you recieved a call eventhough your phone was in general mode.
-> It hangs alot, like the touch stops workimg when a call comes or when you lock the phone and try to unlock.
-> The screen doesnt wake up in the middle of a call, like if you want to cut the call in the middle, you cant do that because the screen freezes and wakes up only when the other person cuts the call.
Like these there are so many hidden problems in it, it has many features too and at 10k it looks just perfect. But keep in mind, it comes with a lot of features and a lot of problems.
I would suggest you not to go for this phone.
