Yamaha Crux

I have been using Crux since almost 8 months now. My use is mostly in city. I have been a Yamaha Fan since long and decided to buy this one after comparing other bikes in this category viz. Splendour, TVS Star City and Bajaj Platina.

Main reasons for the decision were :

• Looks (RX100 style)

• Driving comfort - FOr some reason I found this bike much more comfortable to drive compared to others.

  
  

Pros:

• Sturdy

  
  




• Stylish - I personally like its RX100 style looks

  
  




• Good pickup (in this segment)

  
  




• Low maintenance

  
  




• Good attitude of showroom guys (I have had good experice in Pune).

  
  

Cons:

• Gives problems for starting at times during morning hours (cold)

  
  




• Mileage is not that great. I am getting close to 55 kmpl

  
  




• Real tyre should have been wider for better grip

  
  

Overall a good bike, only issue I see is mileage is lesser than its competitors (which is not really a big issue - at least for me).
