This time its about my bike. Well to be really honest before starting my review I would like to ask people how can they write so beautifully. I must say after reading many review on ms I have greatly increased my vocabulary and writing skills. Hats off to all star writers. Well I am a novice on this site though an engg by profession I haven’t had much time to explore various categories on this website. So I hope ppl reading this review wont mind my saying thanks to all thoese wonderful ppl.
Anyways getting back to yamaha libero. I am not a very technical person when it comes with regards to automobile so have a very little knowledge about tech spec and various function associated with automobiles. Infact I realized that choke for yamaha libero was on handle bar after riding bike for a month or so .. ha ha ha
Anyways my hunt for bike began somewhere in mid of march. Idea of buying a bike was born in my mind after I heard I may get a yearly bonus good enough to allow me a very good downpayment. So I went out to lookout for bikes and first thing that I did was to search about bikes on net and that is how I landed on mouthshut.com. I must say thanks to my search of bikes to introduce me to this amazing site.
Anyways started off with all performance section and came across bike like pulsar which I dislike becuase if bajaj label. Anyways I had already heard about mileage and parts availability(which seem to be bad coonsidering I live in asia biggest auto market)Then honda stable ...came across cbz which with its beautiful looks enthralled me but mileage was a consideration over here and rest of the bikes from honda stable are replica of splendour their most popular bike. So no hondas for me.
Then I read review about yamaha libero on ms only one of them really praised the bike. Most of us brought out its shortcomings. I was also bit apprehensive about its looks bcos of front fering but then I came across image of yamaha with round headlamp and my heart was won. Being from yamaha stable I was sure of good engineering though not as good as yamaha rx 100. I also completely understood that yamaha forte has been performance bike not eco bike. So I expected that it would have its own technical flaws. Though I have never came across one uptill know but I bike surely lack punch as far as power is conc but hey its a mileage bike and they have made sure it does give u maximum mileage.
It stand at 110 cc 7.7 bhp which is decent to give u decent pickup. But bike does tend to fail with twin riding on this area. But looks are amazing it is a very tall bike. Pulsar like silencer gives it a very macho look. It does have a cold start problem specially during winter but once the choke is on it kick off with half kick start. Break though drum based are very effective. And amazing clutch pads.
Mileage : its giving me about 64 kmpl after first service. so its really good in that
area.
Pricing 40000 its abike which gives u worth of ur money. Great looks amazing mileage and decent pick up and power.
I would certainely recommend this bike to all.
