I tell my friends - Hey Ram is a bad movie... with excellent direction, acting, music, dialogues, presentaion,..... so the only thing missing? The story-screenplay. More later.

To have devoted 60% of the time to the introduction of the characters - and then to just drop the effort of making them meet explosively - is a mistake which even a beginning screenwriter would laugh at.
