@giver99 I did a recheck of my mileage - I clocked 52+ kmpl !!! Guess our friend was right. I used the reserve to reserve technique. Note that you have 1.5l in reserve for this bike. Very impressive indeed. Normally you might not get 50+ before first service, but some report they did. Let me tell yo read more...
@giver99 - Fixed the headlight problem with the help of yamaha service guys. They simply tilted the head assembly downwards and nw it's fine. Suggest you follow it up with them (only, not the local mechanic ) completed the 1500+ kms mark finally.
@giver99 The service guys tells me that the fuel gauge is accurate only when u fill up for 3liters or more. When you do that keep an eye where ur needle points to - normally it should be in the red zone(reserve). @giver99 Haven't asked the service guys abt this, but yes i do agree with u, its dangerous even with the lights on. light weight - definitely yes, i find myself zipping thru traffic coupled with a good pickup evn against those apache / pulsar riders. @shiva_shares If your asking the pattern of gears - it's 1 down , then N and the rest 4 up. Look at the stats given by Yamaha - Maximum output : 12.1PS/7500rpm ; Maximum torque : 12.8Nm/4500rpm .
