Yes I tried in many places in Bangalore and everyone said the delivery schedule is 4-5 weeks from the date of booking. So I called up the dealer a week after that period. When I did not receive any satisfactory response I posted this and really got after the dealer and the maruti sales guy. The sale read more...

Vijaikiran, when did u book ur Zxi, you seem to be one of the few who have got this model in blore. I am still awaiting delivery after 1.5 months of booking
Thanks Rahul I spoke with Gurgaon office who gave me the number of regional sales manager who has promised to get back to me by tomorrow about the delivery date. He also mentioned the fact that the production of Zxi is not going as per plan. Lets see what happens
Today I got a call from my dealer telling me that from Jul 10 or Jul 15 they are startig full production of only high end models and the car will be delivered by the month end or latest first week of Aug.
