I am a simple guy with simple tastes. Enjoying life, to me, means being with family and friends, good food (and drink), and lots of travel to nature’s lap. I love long drives to the hills, reading good fiction, watching a good movie at a good theatre, sitting outside on my balcony with the crossword puzzle, and napping on Sunday afternoons. My wife, Jo, and our lovely daughter, Antara (she’s 1 yr 2 months old and already goes to school), are the apples of my eyes. I fancy writing as an avocation. But I am too lazy to be good at it. I have an unfinished novel to my credit, which I aspire to finish some day. I also have written a movie script, and maybe one day I will make a movie out of it, insha Allah! Meanwhile, I am making do with my other love – education. I have acted in and directed scores of plays when I was at college. Now, though, I only get to watch plays. I admire MS and the reviewers. I admire the vibrant community of people writing and rating reviews. I have come across some very good writers and some very interesting people here. I hope they continue their good work and enthusiasm. . Education, Literature, Theatre, Movies, Food, Travel (not necessarily in this order).

Is this a review, or judgement on Sen's writing skill? Reading your 'review' all I decipher is that you were not able to 'swallow' the book. You haven't written your reasons. Or, if you have, which are mostly judgements, you have not substantiated your points with evidence from the text. BTW, the bo read more...

...... Why would any one need a AirBag if he/she is wearing a Seat Belt... Now that's a good one! Honda City surely provides seat belts. I wonder why they are now introducing Air bags.

It's uncanny how your 'so-deep-songs' match mine. '... dard ka doosra naam hai zindagi...' was a very touching song. I don't find people talking about this one often. 'Katra katra' is my all time favourite. Nice review. Shom
