Real sad story. U should not stop at claiming the fund for the tour alone. Ask compensations for waste of precious time, anxiety, breach of contract, mental agony, etc. Make them pay through the noise and let the noise reach the top management, let us see what they come up with.

Additional data to prove the fact that their business process(es) are sloppy!! Based on this review, makemytrip people contacted me and promptly sent me a cheque for the quoted amount - Rs 3225 /-.
