I agree, local Honda service center experience (at Pune atleast) spoils the expectations one would have from the Honda badge. Honesty, timeliness and caring attitude is all we are asking for. Is that too much to expect?

Service experience (1st Free) The free service schedule for Honda City is 1, 3 and 6 months, which sucks. I would have found 3, 6 and 12 months more useful. Fuel efficiency The real-time fuel consumption display educates the driver on what kind of gear- accelerator mix consumes how much fuel. I found it pretty useful. For Honda cars look at the 9th and 10th digits of the VIN/chassis number for manufacturing month and manufacturing year respectively. Decoding: A = January, B = February and so on. 8 = 2008, 9 = 2009, A = 2010 and so on.
