I believe that Consumer Power and Consumer Empowerment emanates from the Consumers themselves. Current consumer protection laws are weak and unscrupulous marketers are always trying to take advantage of the situation. However, if we as consumers can share our views, warn other consumers about misleading claims and advertisements, and spread awareness about good and bad products/brands alike, we can make a difference. Indeed, we are a self-empowering force.
