Mr Barua, i agree with you on the mileage you have mentioned. Most of the people dont follow the speed limits. I get 75 plus on my splendor plus but hardly anyone believes that. Always keep ur bike within 45 Km/l and u can save 200-300 rupees monthly on fuel. That means a wholesome 3600 rupees read more...

You are a old user of Splendor and so it is not wise to comment about Splendor plus and its quality. I also appreciate that the 2000 to 2002 Makes of Splendors are the best. No doubts what so ever. Well said that Splendor Plus Headlight is like cycle dynamo. I also think its true. I have tried a solution for this problem. While the bike is in free float that is --when the bike is in motion but the throttle is idle try not to engage the clutch as flywheel attached to the engine will keep rollin read more...

Check ur speedometer whether it is correct or not? I too have crossed 125 Km/h on 800 but 145 Km/hr seems impossible by all angles. Also Maruti officials guarantee only 130 Km/hr top speed on Maruti 800. Also check ur Coolant and Water level in radiator when u try for those speeds as ur engine read more...

I have ridden both the vehicles personally and for a long time. The CD Deluxe was of Mar 2009 make - the newly styled one with muffler.
