I didn't get the Gixxer. Went for FZ-S Fi. @sree275 - I suppose you haven't seen the date on which I had gone to the dealer who is so far away situated from my home. The bike is till date not launched by Suzuki. And no other dealer in my state(West Bengal) back on last month had a gixxer for even a test ride, let alone buying one. So why wou read more...

Should have gone for Yamaha's SS 125, a premium 125 cc, with just 1 ps lower power than the SZ and lighter by 11 kgs. Price is Rs 5000 lesser. but the mileage is between 55-60(some say even more). Tyres are also MRF zappers and not cheap TVS ones.

@tiwaris - best selling doesn't mean best bike, it can mean best marketing too. 4 gears on a 10 bhp engine that vibrates above 60 kmph is truely sad.

Go for yamaha ss 125. The best 125 cc with same mileage as the bikes you have mentioned. As you want to go on highways the 125 kg kerb weight of the bike will give greater balance and we all know yamaha has the best speeds if nothing else. 5 gears and 11 ps power is also available. niceguyhonda in an ardent honda fan boy, he can listen to praises about honda but any criticism stirs him up. Rider safety and ride quality should be the utmost priority of any bike manufacturer. meaner than fz is a real joke. this bike was designed in an attempt to copy fz styling but still keeping unicorn mileage intact. That is achieved through much skinnier tyres than fz.

Buy the parts in what colour you get and colour it blue with spray paint afterwards. This is a great street byk, dont demean it just for colour!
