Yes! By mistake I posted this question to you. I had asked it earlier. I am very sceptical about buying a bike without a kickstart and just wanted to make sure by asking from different guys who own it. Thanks for the answer. Dude! I want to know abt the lack of kickstart in the new bike. Does it affect reliability in long rides? Would I get stranded somewhere? This is something that is preventing me from buying this bike. Bangalore gets a lot of rain and I have seen the advantage of the kickstart in such weather. And wh read more...

I wanted to know if it is reliable enough without a kickstart. As in if you go on a long trip and get drenched in the rain....you stop for a smoke/tea....but now yr bike refuses to start....what can we do then?

My Unicorn is close to 4 yrs old, and travelled 58K kms. It doesnot have a self start. Only when it is cold in the morning I need to put the choke on. I ride the bike at a fast speed (usually 80-100kph) but not rashly. I am still getting the same mileage (47-52) as it was in its first year. Please n read more...

Your front suspension fork needs proper oiling or may be a change in bearings. Basically a lot of wear and tear has happened in the front suspension. Go to a good mechanic. Answers to yr queries: 1. You can just put a new seat cover with foam, but it will become really hot in the sun 2. No idea 3. Security system or parking inside boundary wall. 4. Go to a good mechanic. If possible search your nearest Castrol bike Point and get yr bikes treated. I have a Unicorn which I bought 3 years back and it has never given me any problems. I just finished riding 40,000 kms on my Unicorn. It is a 2005 April Model (Black). At around 1000km I started using SPEED and it has given me better results ever since.
