Hmm, let’s see. What do I say about myself? If you ask me a question, I WILL give you my honest opinion. I don’t have a ’plan for life’ as some people grandly like to put it. I take each day as it comes and try to fly with it. I like getting high on life and most of the time try not to take myself too seriously. If there is a question that I like to ask it has to be ’Why?’. Does that make me philosophically inclined? Maybe. My pet peeves are: Telemarketers, hypocrisy & double standards, I-Pod’ers (this species exists!), arrogance and people who think beauty and brains can’t co-exist. Want to know still more about me, huh? Here goes: What's my favorite drink? Bottled water. Who's my Role model? Have different role models in different aspects. Absolute heaven on earth? Home. And everybody has one! I don’t believe - In love at first sight. I believe - That friendship is an essential ingredient of love (No, I’m NOT quoting Karan Johar!). I believe - That Starbucks is overrated. I believe - That while ignorance may be bliss, knowledge is power! I believe - That God knows how to dance! Lastly, I believe - In ANYTHING as long as it is incredible! ;-) . Painting and poetry are two of my main interests. Didn't Leonardo da Vinci say that “Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen?” I also enjoy listening to a wide variety of music, watching movies. My dream is to tour the entire world.

Hi Smitha, Good review as usual. I haven't read this book per se, but would like to say that most child prodigies unfortunately get pushed towards success, either by parents or by mentors/trainers. Ava ji! I live in the US and there is only one Indian movie theater where I stay. These theaters play star-studded, well promoted films on the screens most of the time. That is to say that chotte banner waale films dikhaate nahin hain. :( So will have to wait for the DVD. Uma

Hi Smitha, Good review again! I've never read anything by Chitra Banerjee, but your revu makes me want to read this one. I'm a sucker for short story collections and this one seems to be a good one with a nice positive message. Life is nothing but a series of errors?? Hmm...Debatable. LOL. Uma

Hi Ratna!!!!!!!!! Late but made it huh? Thanks for the comment. I agree that it will have to be a neverending list if one sat down to make a list of best songs with all the three singers i.e. Rafi, Kishore or Mukesh. I like the songs you have picked out too. Hi Shanti!!!!!!!!!! Here you are!! Thanks a lot for the RRC. I agree with you on Mukesh's voice. Hi Ratna!! Manzilein apni jagah and chalte chalte are two of his songs that I like best. He was actually very talented but got ruined after his 'disco' phase I think. Hi Thakurman!! Thanks a lot for the RRC!!
