I already switched to tata indicom and am happy to report that my bills are much less now. Service isn't great but it isn't as bad as Orange. Voice quality on Tata in much better than Orange and even with low signal the sound quality remains excellent. Tatas plans are also very cheap. Bye Bye Orange read more...

Dude, get your facts right. The Scorpio is by far more powerful - both in terms of power and torque!! Scorpio is 109bhp, Tavera is 80bhp. Torque - Scorpio:26kgm while Tavera is just 19 kgm. Also, its not true that as the MP grow, the manufacturer fits more sensors in the same space. For eg, a Canon 10D is the size 35mm. So manufacturers increase the CCD size as they increase the Megapixels.

I think your advise that Sony and Panasonic be avoided is not based on any scientific evidence. Check the reviews of both these on any digital camera review site.
