with pay as you go plan tariff is 10p/10KB i.e Rs 10 per MB Looks like you got trapped into this plan. watching a one minute youtube video(480p) may cost around 200-300 rupees so never subscribe for this plan. Rs 675/- plan is best for light users(upto 3GB per month)

most bsnl employees know the art of annoying their customers. apparently they will be much worse in a state with strong worker unions(experts at starting strike). linesman with 20-30k salary ask for bribe. don't pay the bribe and you will keep on fighting with them with your complaints. people n Read More...

somehow all new connection requests are assigned to exchange 10 miles away. luckily within the city. their systems are always under up-gradation and employees are slower than tortoise to understand upgrades.

you did what they want. i am not telling you should have waited for them to fix the connection. With less users less complaints and less headache(read work) their life should be a walk in the park.
