yeah its a very good movie.. music is also nice. it did average business at box office. its unfair to see the trade verdict as flop. The film is definetely better than mujhe kuch kehna hai, yaadein, and asoka which released the same year. This is Rajiv Rai's first love story and he did a great job.

good review.. one correction i wana make is this is not rajiv rai's debut movie. His debut film was yudh which was good for any debutant.. GO AND WATCH IT. But TRIDEV was altime blockbuster which established Rajiv in film industry.

it was good movie compare to yaadein, muje kuch kehna hai and asoka. one more saleble actor or actress could have made a difference. flop verdict is unfair though for the film coz its a decent film with unusual story. rajiv rai should have ended movie with one piring only..
