well.. I beg to disagree.. as much as I think you make your point well.. 'literature' will remain literature. Interpreter of Maladies is a classic for all its flaws and the poignant storytelling.. as far as I'm concerned.. I like your review.. but it seems rather sexist to me.. keeping all the male actors at the top and the female at the bottom. well.. you should probably upgrade to kazaalite.. to avoid getting junk on your computer and also to prevent spyware tracking.. It's hell if you get that on your computer...

Great review dude! I think all your points are valid. I think Hindi directors tend to forget that 'nativity' that your so nicely mentioned. You cannot just 'remake' a movie without adding realism particular to that region...
