I was born near the banks of Brahmaputra river, brought up in the banks of the Yamuna and presently live in the banks of the Hoogli. Rivers have always played an important role in my life although I don't know how to swim. I like straightforwardness and directness in people and hate hypocracy. A smile in a wrinkled face puts me on and tears in a chubby cheeks put me off. I like to take life as it comes and like to live in a bindas style. I believe that when blood relations break apart its the friends who bring you together.... Net surfing, music, eating, chatting, making new friends and reading, infact I read anything and everything that I can get my hands to. At times I even read the newspaper Lifafas that come home from the grocery shops. My latest obsession is to read MS reviews. I also love to watch the birds fly real high, the sailing clouds, blooming buds, mountains, the stars, the first rain of the season and the smell of the wet soil

A very good collection of movies. I see most of my favorite ones. Would have loved to see Mirch Masal and Masoom (Shekhar Kapoor) in that list ... but understandably the list was for ten. :) Just to point out I think Do bheega zameen was a Bimal Roy film and not V Shanta Ram. Nice review... This is one of my favorite films too. I too agree with Dr. Shafique, directors of Bimal Roy's calibre and taste are not found at present.
