Subscribed to Hathway Internet service, paid them and was assured of a connection in a day or two - Free installation! However, when the installing technician came with the cable, he refused to lay it, and demanded that I call an electrician to lay the cable, so I did.
However, one week and several reminders later, no one has come to connect the cable, and Hathway helpdesk promises help which never comes. The cheque has been deposited, so they have my money, but I have no service.
Also, when you call the helpline and select the English option, the woman who answered me couldnt speak more English than Hello, and insisted on speaking Hindi. Which would also be ok, if they gave me the service I paid for.
After 12 days, I asked for my money back. Guess what Hathway says? Your payment does not reflect in our accounts! The cheques was cleared 4 days ago, so Hathway says bring the bank statement to our office; not send by email, bring it physically!
So now, hathway not only doesnt give service, it also steals my money. Never take an internet connection from Hathway!
