After a lot of ups and downs, good and not so good times, a lot of friends and a lull in writing, I am back at Mouthshut. This time all I am interested in is writing my hearts desires and not to be too woried about what others might say. I have lots and lots of interest. I love music, especially the slow notes of 1950s Hindi Films. One of my interets is to make a guess on the year of the movie or the music director while just listening to the songs. I enjoy Mirza Ghalib too, especially in the voices of Rafi, Begum Akhtar or Noorjehan. I do a lot of reading. Mostly I read and collect classics, Sdney Sheldons, Agatha Christies and comics - especially Asterix and Archies.Dont ask me what is common to all these - they are all from different genres and tastes. probably what binds them is that all of them are written nicely. I watch a lot of movies and TV - especially the commedy shows on both. However, when it comes to movie, I appreciate any good work with good characterisation - no mater what genre. Lamhe, Sholay and Hera Pheri are my three favourite movies. I love cooking. So weekends are my cooking days where I try all kinds of combinations/ innovative food. And of course, I love my work and look forward

Thanks for the comment - I also agree with this, but this was a review written in 2005 :-), around the time of MHN and much before OSO
Early eighties saw certain glimpses of Lataji’s greatness with the likes of Nindiya se Jaagi Bahaar and Sun sahibaan sun. The greatness of the greatest singer of India continued through highs and lows. Songs like Zee hale-e-mushkin, Pardesiyaa, Morni baga ma and Jiya jale kept the diva in the limeli read more...

Nice Review. This film had the typical Raj Kapoor touch.

Great review. But I still miss the competition that we saw in eighties or early nineties.... Bjorg-Connors-Mckenro Lendle-Willander-Edberg-Becker Sampras-Agassi-Courier and somewhat faded Becker and Edberg or even in ladies.. Welcome to MS. It was a very good choice, but we are supposed to comment and rate not merely on the choices, but also on the quality of review. A few words about the songs will help. However, great first attempt :-)

Definitely not a useful review. Essentially you are suggesting people to default on their credit card payments. I see three basic pitfalls in this. 1. At the lowest risk level, the person's credit history goes for a toss. Next time he applies for a home loan/ vehicle loan, banks won't honour hi read more...

Hi, An itreresting review. I thought of giving SU/ NU as it was not exactly on the stated topic, but the way you went about explaining and the disclaimer in the beginning - it was a pretty good attempt.\ Thanks
Thanks Sonika, After I restarted on MS, I realised how much I missed writing here :-)
Thanks Shalu. I am also a big fan of Agatha Christie. But I always found her three novels: This one, Roger Ackroyd and Orient Express to be on a separate league altogether.
