Righto I think it is the diversity of India that has thrown up english as a viable alternative. Plus India has always had international ambitions, which is why English has been planted and flowered here. Phalna and phoolna as they say in hindi ;) carry on stirring things up Nags.

Sounds like an interesting film. I am always game for watching Johnny Depp. I guess I should make a visit to delhi to pick up some dvd's eh ;) I think I would love all the references to William Blake too, I havent read much of him, but I could.

And Heath Ledger .. In short, the scene when he dances out of the hospital like a little gleeful girl in his nurse uniform is going to be a classic. It will be remembered forever !
Christian Bale put in a magnificent performance.. His actually tries to transform his personality when he is Batman and just the billioniare playboy. Bruce is leaner and carries a casual look. Batman is bulkier and weighed down by all the moral concerns.. he even speaks in a heavy voice.
This version of Nolan's is amazing on many counts. Its easy, almost, to do the special effect that allow you to show gruesome murders as well as blowups.
