The awarness on corporal punishment ( some times turning into capital punishment) is very poor and not at all discouraged openly in India , its a national problem. Its very unfortunate you bought a defective bike , the suzuki must replace the bike with a good one or reimburse the cash along with damages. the problem is not with the bike but with our consumer laws and general apathy associated

Noise and poor low end torque may be due to incorrect valve clearance , ignition timing , check thse two your problem will get solved

Your engine oil filter might be clogged , suzuki service is not satisfactory i agree . thereby starvation of oil supply to the cylinder head and other parts, engine might have got damaged . check the setting of the carburattor too. sachidan
I believe your bike is mishandled. I personally checked my bike milage with the calibrated can ( which i purchased from spare parts shop for Rs 160/-) i cheked with 50 ml petrol . it gave 4.3 kms. check your air filter, engine oil condition.besides i checked the bike for cruising speed ( my bike h read more...
