I received the full refund, also a call from makemytrip management explaining whole situation. They are ready to learn from mistake, so it is much appreciated and restored my faith on them .It is good to know that they are listening to customer's grievances.

After going through several reviews on MakeMyTrip, it seems MakeMyTrip is indulging in malpractice.They send a confirmed voucher and ask customer specifically not to contact hotels for re-confirmation . I had booked through makemytrip and makemytrip issued me a confirmed voucher, but when i reached hotel there was no room booked, and hotel guys tried to pass me a cheap alternative accommodation .
