@SRNAIR you are more than welcome, sir. Now, Tamron does produce lenses with optical stabilization facility. The terminology used by Tamron to describe the feature is VC (vibration compensation). So watch out for that and you'll be just fine. In India the best place to go for Tamron would be E-bay a read more...
@srnair..... spot on and so true, but as i was explaining the role of lenses and also the availability of cheaper, yet excellent 3rd party lenses such as Sigma ans Tamron I was unfortunately cut short by the 7500 word limit.

The person who wrote the review does not understand the technical features, quality and of course the role of a DSLR in the world of Photography. @ debbya9a..... The product is sold in E-bay along with the 18-55mm VR kit lens for around 35K , But Nikon India sells you the product for 53K. For more details visit those sites.
