A Battle of Wits.

This is not in connection with any recent happenings.... it is just an observation

Correct me if I am wrong.

Am I seeing a new side to MS? Was I naïve in my thinking that MS is a friendly site?

As I get deeper and deeper in activity on MS I am getting to see the darker side which I do not approve of… There are a lot of controversies, misunderstandings and undercurrent in comments on Reviews and DP’s going around.

Healthy criticism is what is needed here, not sharp wits snide and insults; it throws a poor light onto those making remarks as well as those retaliating forcefully to those remarks and comments.

Isn’t this a site where we can freely express our innermost feelings?

Isn’t this a site where we ‘Grow in Knowledge? ‘Experience fellowship? ‘Improve our talents and skill? And make a lot of FRIENDS?

I do understand if one would like to put a little humor or pull legs in their comments, but don’t you feel it should be done on a light note by the giver and taken equally lightly be the receiver?

Why does everyone get their feathers ruffled when it comes to negative comments on their post?

I am seeking answers, can anyone come up with them?
