After a long time, Iam back here, to draw your attention towards the atrocities committed by the domineering section (men) of the society on the so-called weaker section(women).

I mentioned 'so-called weaker section' because I believe the issues raised by me might certainly bring a sense of awakening in both men & women.

The atrocity that has made me to pen this with a heavy heart is wild harassment of women by men.

By harassment, I dint mean the sexual harassment (molestation) but, various ways in which women are treated submissively & exploited by the supremacy of man power.

The sad part of the thing here is , women being treated submissively by her own men(say husband,son,brother etc..).

Women's (esp. illiterate/homemaker) world of thought is always restricted into a smaller circle, ie, her family. She tries to give her fullest potential to see her family satisfied.

But what does she get in return ... ?

I had previously read many posts in praise of women in our very own MS.Few of it's writers were men in addition to women.It is really such men, I feel deserve hero status .

But my heart boils when I see the kind of men who donot have any regards towards women interms of both respect & loyality for all that they had acquired from them.

I consider myself very unlucky to have such specimens residing in my neighbourhood & my inability towards bringing a halt to these.But I feel highly relieved as I have a wonderful platform like MS to atleast raise this issue.

The servant maid who comes to our house resides in a small tent beside our house.Her husband is a reckless drunkard who doesn't have any botherations towards the family's welfare.Infact he adopts all possible ways to grab the very little hard-earned money that she saves to educate her 2 little daughters.

Behaviour of such men causes a black spot on the whole men community.

Even this issue could be digested when you witness a mother (50 yrs of age) being wildly thrashed by her son.

This incident often happens in the family which is next to our door-step.The son is well educated(an young Engineer) , unlike the other case where the (servant's) husband is an illiterate.

He always expresses his anger caused by his own inabilities & other scorns raised upon him, only on his poor mother.

Abusing a mother verbally itself is a great sin whose traces remain unwashed for any number of your rebirths to come.

If so beating a mother wildly .... oh God! ... unimaginable.

The old mother suffers all alone & no one to rescue her.Even her husband doesn't intervene in between the 2 to confront her.It is very heart throbbing to find a mother being afraid of her own son.

She too doesn't take any steps to protect herself as the "mother's heart" still keeps thinking only about her heartless son's future.

I sit & look out at all these with a sigh ..................
