We Indians believe that ‘Rules are meant to be broken’ but have you ever noticed that rules are based on an in-depth research and experiences. For instance if sleeping is for night and working is for day, then it is based on the proven fact that complete metabolism of our body lowers down at night or in the absence of sun. However, people working in night shifts do get affected with this disturbed routine as they get older and tired much before time. Therefore, we must trust the rules, as they are not baseless.

Similarly, when it comes to driving rules on road, youngsters forget everything and go insane in passion and competition. Having hi-end bikes and flaunting it with wheelie & stopy has become a trend for almost every college-going group of boys. Being rich and affluent is one thing but flaunting it with dangerous stunts and breaking traffic rules is another. If this simple fact gets in every young mind, then half of the accidents can be easily avoided in Amritsar.

#SafetyBeginsWithMe and every single individual should understand this. Nissan Top Gear reminded me this very important fact with their road safety initiative. All I want to say is “Sadda Haq yaad rakhna par Sadda Farz bhool na jana…”
