Dear Diary,

Thank God I'm alive. I say this ,because for the two successive Sundays, I've been attending funeral rites of two friends who died one after the other. As I was changing my clothes,preparing to go to the funeral, my grandaughter ask me, where am I going? And I told her that I'm gonna attend a funeral of my friend. So, she ask me again " DEAD AGAIN? WHY DO THEY DIE? ARE THEY NOT HEALTHY, SO THEY DIE? " Seems like silly and funny questions of an innocent child but that gives me a valid reason to wake up each day with thanks giving in my heart that I'm still alive. Sometimes ,we tend to forget that every details/moment in our lives must be with thanks giving, be it good or bad. I understand that not all the times are good times to celebrate the moment but still we ought to be happy that these things happens, because it helps us to grow,motivates and makes us stronger to face another challenge. One should not stay dormant because of lots of trials,because after all life is still beautiful and amazing with relatives and friends around us who cares and love us.

God will never leave His child a beggar on the streets when one only knows how to ask and knock at His door, that's His promise. He is more than willing to give us what we need and not what we want. For He knew what's good for us and not what we want in life. Our wants may put our lives into danger but our needs God provideth, if we only have faith on Him. I don't want to sound like a priest, a nun or a minister here, because I'm not neither one of them, I'm just saying according to my observations in the reality of life. Whatever one's religion or affialiations, I respect it, but my idea is, one must believe that there's Someone Up there who is more than Omnipotent above all to control and knows everything that any human can't do. There's no magic needed for the God of mercy, graciousness,kindnes,understanding.... I could mention more qualities of Him but the greatest gift of all is the gift of love for giving His only begotten Son. In closing I should say, that one can hide away from the DEVIL but you can't run away from GOD(pls refer to my Lessons from life, on my June diary post archives.). So thanks God for everything.
