After all, it was 1 expert (the Jackal) against another (Commissaire Lebel). Isnt good supposed to win over evil ? :-) .....But really, even that would have been thrilling, had the Jackal escaped.

If a book can ever make you U grow up from teenage-fiction, then this is the one. I felt like I can start an assassination agency of my own, after reading it. :-P...Not overdoing it, guys. Read it for urself and U will realise how true I am.

I was, once, told by someone that if you read the Day of Teh jackal, you can become an Assasin. After reading the book, I was convinced that its Absolutely true. FF's book are so well-researched that he leaves very little as fiction. read it and I guarantee that it will be mind-blowing.

I have an Avenger and I ride it atleast 30km everyday and sometimes in snail's-pace traffic, but apart from having painful fingers in the left hand(caused by prolonged and heavy usage of the clutch), I have never faced any discomfort. Hey Joel. R U from Hyd ? Me 2. It seems even you had a hard time at Rahul Bajaj, eh ? Maybe its the monopoly which makes them arrogant. Dunno why but its like a Govt. office, there. I had similar issues when I gave my Avenger for 1st service. Drop me a line when U r free.

I am a 3-month owner of Avenger and I am more than impressed with its performance. Agreed that the gear-lever is longer than average, but you will get used to it, as I did. Mileage in city conditions will be between 40-45, after 1st service/oil-change. I ride it in Horrible-traffic in Hyderabad and read more...

Excellent and very Honest review. I own an Avenger myself and I admit that my choice was based partly on the availability of cruisers and my pocket.
