Cool review! Your choice of songs are great. I like Aaogey Jab Tum and In Dino very much. One point to note here is that Aaogey.. is not sung by Ustad Sultan Khan, but by Ustad Rashid Khan. Keep writing!!

Yes, they've had quite some big years including 1999 as you've mentioned. But I am saddened by the fact that they didn't receive a single Filmfare award in their career. JJWS was overshadowed by 1942, DDLJ by Rangeela, etc.

Pritam, famous for copying songs from varous sources has done it yet again. This time he copies the song 'Prithibita Naki Chhoto Hote Hote' by the best known Bangla band from Kolkata - Mohiner Ghoraguli. Thanks for your comments on my review. Yes as I had written in my review itself. It's very difficult to refine your search. I had to leave out many songs that were really good...like the title track of Main Hoon Na, Swades (though I personally feel Meenaxi was a lot better), 99.9FM, among others. As read more...
