This institute is established in 1958 and is located in Powai, Mumbai. IIT institutes are also located in Chennai, Kharagpur, Delhi, Kanpur, Roorkee, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Varanasi, Guwahati, Ropar, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, and various other places all over India. It has a AAAA ranking and it is an autonomous institute. They are recognized all over the world as a leader in the field of engineering education and research. It was founded in 1887 and was called Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute and it is an autonomous college. It is located in Matunga East and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It has a AAAA+ rank in engineering. 

 It has a civil and environmental engineering degree and this department offers the following laboratories and testing facilities: Water and wastewater, air and noise pollution, transportation engineering, hydraulics, land surveying, geology, plumbing, and computers. They also have computer engineering and information technology degrees, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering, textile manufacturing, technical and applied chemistry, mathematics, and physics. 

Admissions in VJTI are based only on merit and you will have to give a centralized admission test as per the guidelines of the government of Maharashtra and are conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. You have to have 155 cut-off for civil, 164 for electrical, and 165 for electronics and telecommunications.  The faculty here has 10-15 years of experience and is a writer of the reference books of various publications. It is a government college, so the fees are lower than other colleges. It has about 60 seats for students in all the departments respectively. 

The building is 130 years old and has a vintage charm to it and it has a 16 acres campus. The library and labs are fully equipped. There are two big grounds for playing outdoor games and a basketball court.

It was established in 1962 and is a government-aided engineering college and it is affiliated to Mumbai University. It is located in Bhavan's College, Munshi Nagar in Andheri West. It has got a ranking of Grade A from the government of Maharashtra. You can do Civil Engineering, Mechanical, and structural engineering courses at this place. SPCE has more than 55 years of legacy as a leading engineering institute. It has an industry-relevant curriculum. It has a green campus and good infrastructure. It ranked in the top 150 institutions in NIRF 2017. 

To get admission to this college, you need to give the MHT-CET exam and the admissions are done on the basis of rank in MH-CET through MHT CET counseling. You need to get a rank of 1775(154) in round 1 for civil engineering to get into this college. You need to get 1248(159) in electrical engineering and 580(168) in mechanical engineering. In round two, you need a 2114 cut-off score for civil, a 1556(156) score for electrical, and a 709(166) for mechanical. In round three, you need 2420(150) in civil engineering.  1717(155) in electrical engineering, 739(166) in mechanical engineering. The number of seats available here is 60 per department.

The college is autonomous and it has been awarded 'A' grade by national assessment and accreditation council (NAAC) from May 2017. It has undergraduate, post graduate and PhD degrees in computer engineering, electronics and telecommunications, electronic engineering, information technology and mechanical engineering. It has 120 seats in B.Tech computer engineering, 120 seats in B.Tech electronics and communication and 120 seats in B.Tech electronics engineering and 120 seats in B.Tech Information Technology. 

The place has a library, auditorium, hospital, and cafeteria. The college has a basketball court, tennis court, football ground, indoor badminton court, volleyball court. It was established in 1984 and it is affiliated to University of Mumbai. It is located in Chembur. It is a private college. It has an AAA+ rating. There are good facilities for sports. There is a cafeteria that serves good food, there is a hospital and the laboratories are also equipped well. They conduct industry visits. There are courses in computer science and engineering, BE electronics, BE electronics and telecommunications engineering and BE in computer science and engineering. The number of seats available here are 120 for the first three courses and 60 for the last one mentioned above. 

The marks that you need in MH-CET exam to get in the BE electronics course in this college is 126 in the general category, 102 in instrumentation engineering, 133 in information technology and 143 in computer engineering.

It is affiliated to NMIMS and was founded in 2006. It is located near Cooper hospital in Vile Parle east. This college was ranked 2nd among the top emerging colleges of this century by India Today 2019. It is accredited by NAAC with a 3.59 CGPA and Grade A+ in the 3rd cycle. The highest that you get through placements is 12.4 lakhs and the average salary is 4.4 lakhs. 

They have data science, information technology, computer engineering, electronics and communication, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and mechatronics undergraduate programs. They also have technical MBA courses with options in Information technology, Electronics and telecommunications engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and civil engineering. They also have a B.Tech integrated program, which is a 6 years degree program after 10th standard. If you get a rank of 1300-1500, you should get into computer science. For IT, the seats are less, so you need to get a better score, but it depends on the number of people giving the exam the year that you are giving the exam as well. 

There are several fests such as Sattva, Taqneeq. Sattva is the cultural festival and Taqneeq is a technical festival. 

The curriculum is really good and they focus on recent trends and requirements. The labs are in very good condition and they have new and modern equipment.
