Hi Jeeva, yes, as the title says it's probably the best movie in Tamil in the 'independent genres' category. In mainstream it could be Mahanadhi. But yeah that's just my opinion and those movies have affected me on a personal level so could be biased too. thanks for the comment though :)

continuation of the actual review... Use of guns is kept very minimal, and it's a good move too; because Madras's underworld (unlike that of Bombay's) is very rudimentary when it comes to weapons. A lot of you just don't know what's OSCAR quality, or real acting for that matter. (they said BLACK was going to win at least one OSCAR - Yeah right!).
