agreed that 5-7 days is normal. But I am sure you were told something else. I had a very bad experience while shifting from Delhi to Pune. Their insurance is **** thing. Ouch!!! Never saw so much hatred towards S5. Look around you, do some google, see the pictures taken by amateurs, not pros, and you will know why S5 is why best camera in its area. As far as Auto mode is considered, I have taken amazing pictures on Auto mode with full 12x zoom. I think you read more...

I agree that wide angle zoom and 18x is definitely a plus. But the I failed to find 'magic' in FZ18 pics. May be I was looking at the wrong place. Let me know if you find something.
To Sharath: I am using 2100mA batteries and I forgot when I charged them last time.. the batteries are good. But I have noticed that Sony cameras consume less batteries. Adobe Photoshop CS and CS2 have a feature called 'Photo Merge' It works so well that I took normal pictures by just rotatign myself in all directions, and it stichted all the images in a perfect panorama.
