I have narrowed down to two choices. Either an LG Direct drive or Bosch 7 KG WAE20261IN (only thing is this doesn't have direct drive). If you can update the LG model number you bought, it will be very useful.

The Honda city V and VX variants come with front and rear defoggers which are effective in clearing any mist formation during rains.
The Diesel engine used is the same engine released in Europe in 2011. Only the bore stroke has been reduced a bit to bring the engine capacity to 1.5 Litre for Indian govt excise benefits. So its not an experimental engine and is a tried and tested engine.
I bought it from Magnett Technologies, rates are posted at their website. You can google the same. Only maintenance (touch wood) is to check the level of distilled water in the battery which I've done myself after a couple of months.
