I have narrowed down to two choices. Either an LG Direct drive or Bosch 7 KG WAE20261IN (only thing is this doesn't have direct drive). If you can update the LG model number you bought, it will be very useful.

The Diesel engine used is the same engine released in Europe in 2011. Only the bore stroke has been reduced a bit to bring the engine capacity to 1.5 Litre for Indian govt excise benefits. So its not an experimental engine and is a tried and tested engine.
