Hi Gaurav, I have run 4500 KMS so far and have driven it around in mild, light rain and so far no problems at all. I have not driven it around in very heavy rains so I do not know how my car will perform. But since everything is going well so far, I do not expect problems. That does not mean n read more...
Hi ramesh, I have discovered that mileage is about the most subjective aspect of a car. It really depends on the driver and driving conditions. In general cars have a band of mileage in city conditions [eg for Alto it is 13-17kmpl and for optra it is 7-12kmpl]. The extremes are unlikely and are f read more...

Cool review ! At the entry level no one can beat Maruti. Alto is superb value for money especially mileage wise. I own an old 800 and its my trusty old car and can relate to anything said about Maruti. Recently however I bought an Optra. Cheers Hemanth.
