. Books, ghazals, movies, cricket - the order depending upon my mood. My favourite authors are DH Lawrence (dont go by his ''Lady Chatterly's Lover'' alone - his ''Sons and Lovers'' is a masterpiece in depicting emotions.), Daphne du Maurier (again, the more famous ''Rebecca'' is a shade below the lesser known ''My Cousin Rachel''. For the quick masala fix I turn to Wibur Smith sometimes. And Dick Francis. Music - Jagjit is a distinct favorite. Kishore Kumar and Hemant Kumar are up there too. Movies - ''How Green Was My Valley'' was wonderful, and so was ''Scent of a Woman''

Hey Khushi Thanks for the encouragement. Read up ur profile - my idea of paradise as a child was a room full of books too! And guess what, my dream was realised. Spent most of the vacations of class X in such a room! Ciao Sukhjeet

Hi Sujata Great movie, nice review. The music, of course, was the one that caused me to buy the VCD a few months back. Didnt regret buying it. Ciao Sukhjeet
Hi Sujata I have recently purchased a house, and was thinking of repainting. Smashing review. Sukhjeet
Hi Yes, you should visit it sometimes! Thanks Sukhjeet
Hi Sujata I also loved the way the insecurity of the heroine is portrayed. And her gradual growing in confidence. The scene in which she appears at a party dressed exactly like Rebecca is great! Ciao Sukhjeet
Hey Monica Thanks. Read ur review, and I guess u liked Aish a li'l less than I did! And I loved those dashes and stars. Are they the number of stars u giving to my review? Ahem, dont deserve so many (I think!!!)! Ciao Sukhjeet

Hi Milind Agree with the thread of conversation currently in progress - why tear our hair on a second rate copy of a, well, almost, second rate movie! But a nice review, straight from the heart! Ciao Sukhjeet
Hi Chintani Thanks for the comments. Oh - if I had started listing all the books I like, those 8000 charactes wouldnt have sufficed. About P&P - see Bride&P and write a review comparing the two! The english and the scottish press seem to be beating up ole G Chaddha no end! Ciao Sukhje read more...
Sujata Yes, I quite liked the movie, but its a replica of 'Unfaithful'. Down to the lovemaking scene - there is almost no difference, except the change in actors. Didnt see the end of Murder, but hope I dont have to - coz i saw Unfaithful. Ciao Sukhjeet
