The present me was born about 1 and 1/2 years back when I finished my Masters in cooking up numbers (of course, I meant accounting…. commerce in fact). I grabbed my belongings and took the first flight seeking THE PROMISED LAND (that translates into Advertising, Media and Publishing). Mid-air I ran out of ATF and crash-landed on the Wall Street. But, I am the Princess of Wishful Thinking. Like the Phoenix resurrecting from the ashes, I just stood up, brushed the debris from my coat and took my new avatar as an online real-time financial news editor. Earlier I got fed up getting the better of financial statements but now I have wandered into a place where I see a minimum of 25 financial statements of different companies. I make the Icing on the financial cake. (I edit those, generally mammoth, press releases so that the poor investor doesn’t loose his/her money.). Plus I get to have a look outside The Street on weekends, which means I do general reporting on some weekends. I get along with all except the Know-alls (the creed which thinks they know all there is to be known…well…). Ignorance is sometimes bliss. The things that makes the day for me is an appreciation from anyone, a smile from anyone and a brilliant good thought to brood. I am an ambitious writer who hasn’t got started yet. I dabbled with poetry in my earlier avatar as a commerce student. The student masqueraded into a class magazine editor for a while. Quizzing was and still is one great thing, which gives me a high. I love pampering my dogs and daydreaming. Listening to whatever pleasing to my ears sooths me anytime. I am a vegetarian foodie, but do have concerns for my poor tummy. My interests are whatever on the earth that are interesting. To be specific I am a bibliophile and an avid reader. Apart from that I like to write something whenever I feel like. I like making friends and communicating with them. And of course i am interested in my work. I ease out the rest of the time pampering my dogs and dreaming.
