Havent watched it as yet, but I believe I'll have the same take as you on it. Watched the first half hour yesterday, and thought it looked a bit forced to me....you know, well acted, but unreal somehow. :) Prateik did make the dhobhi ghat look more exciting than looking at my sterile white washing machine...but you have to be a woman to see that! But yeah, the movie lets you down completely. Thanks for commenting!
:) Maybe Aamir Khan is a hen-pecked husband! Such a pity for his fans though...and I rate myself as one of them. I still havent seen better work from an actor than that of his portrayal in 1947 Earth...brilliant. Absolutely! It has no ending, the characters dont have any definition (except may be Munna), poor Aamir was saddled with the worst written character of his acting career.....lots of elements that let you down. At the same time, it COULD have been good and unique if it only had a better scriptwriter. read more...
