two of my colleagues have purchased this model. In a few months they have had all sorts of problems - system refuses to power up, wi-fi does not always work and battery issues are also happening. Your review also confirms that there is some problem with the model. Thanks for sharing!

Roshan, my laptop is now 6 months old (bought in October 2008) and battery life continues to be around 3-3.5 hours for standard word processing/ with wi-fi enabled. Thanks - I am looking for a JMG myself and this review helped me to include Preethi as one of the possible candidates. The powerful motor helped to convince me! I don't think it is readily available in Mumbai though.

Thanks Amrita, deadlikings - yes, travelling alone late at night has always been a stress for me in Delhi - I found the concept excellent..as I mentioned I also wish it takes off in Mumbai...really needed here.
