DTH service providers are way better than the 'cable mafias' that operate in many cities. Your review is supposed to give the difference between DishTV and TataSky, but it instead bashes DTH services in general. This does not help anyone.

I beg to differ; there can always be a picture quality difference between DTH providers. The resolution, codecs used and everything can differ. So will the quality. Do pay attention to and examine picture quality when you buy a DTH unit.

You are probably very lucky to have not experienced tapes getting stuck inside your player or you are probably spending a lot of time on maintainance. In dvds book marking is never an issue since in most video dvds, the movie is organized into chapters. simply skip to the chapter you were last watching.
