COOL PLACE IN MYSORE
I visited this museum once when I went to mysore.its the cool place in mysore.it has nicely sculped instruments which you cannot see anywhere for some moments it will feel like your eyes is fooled. Many different bands all over the world plays the musical instruments.it is not a good developed or fancy place but nicely maintained old building with good staff.here you can spend two hours at the most.the ticket fare is nominal.this is the first museum of wax.inside a room you can many sculptures made up of wax.
They also has beautiful design candles which there sells at a reasonable price.I think this place is worthy of visiting and I recommend everyone to visit if you go to mysore.

One of its kind and very good!
I have visited this museum once with my family when we had been to Mysore. This place is not so very famous, but if you carefully note, this is the first wax museum dedicated for musical instruments and music.
The models here are wonderfully sculpted and are so realistic that your eyes might get fooled for a minute.
You can find different Bands from around the world playing different instruments(statues of course). There is light music turned on in the museum.
The museum is not very big or fancy, but an old building well maintained with good staff and affordable entry fee.
You can spend at most 2 hours in the museum and not more. At the end of the museum, you find a candle store where you will find beautifully designed candles for reasonable prices. It is cool inside the museum as the sculptures are made of wax.
I would recommend this place to everyone visiting Mysore and I wish the government had given a little more importance to this place and maintained better.

'Cool' place in Mysore!
Wax museum is about 1 to 1 and a half kilometers from Mysore zoo and is a wonderful place. You will hardly take 2-3 hours if you see everything in detail in this museum though it is a nice place to visit. These days, wax sculptures are common and are found in many places, but this place has a lot to tell you about music and that is why it is named as ‘Melody world’.
There are statues of the famous people which looks so real and alive. They have made the models of tribes of India using musical instruments, band of musicians, different types of musical instruments from all over the world. I’m not such great fan of music though I just listen to songs, you get to know so much about different instruments here.
It is a fun place as well as informative. The art work here is very beautiful, but the maintenance is very bad, if they maintain it well, it will look better.
The place is very cool as everything here is made of wax and if you are going around in Mysore on a sunny day, you will like this place even if you are not interested to look around and read about the instruments and the information written over there.
I wish government looks into this place and maintains properly as it can also be a major tourist attraction. They say it is the first wax museum with music instruments in the world!
At the end of the museum, you’ll find a candle store where you find candles of all sizes and shapes at a reasonable price and some are really beautifully moulded.
If you happen to visit Mysore, I would suggest you to look into this place for sure.
